Being prepared on the trail is a key component to a good experience. Simple issues on the trail can include anything from a flat tire to a chainring bolt coming loose. Serfas has created a new line of multi tools that are designed to keep you prepared without being too unnecessary. The ST-15i is a multitool, Co2 inflator, and patch kit all in one small lightweight package.

Strategically employing each component of the tools structure allows Serfas to keep the tool small and light while still providing extensive features. At 106g the St-15i is light enough to that it is barely noticeable in a jersey pocket while providing ample features to fix almost any trailside repair.

The unique design of the ST-15i provides fold out wrench options that include 8,6,5,4,3,2.5, 2, 1.5 mm allen keys, 25, 30 Torx, and phillips and standard screwdrivers. On the outside of the tool tire levers snap on to the side of the tool while a glueless patch kit and CO2 inflator nozzle are nestled in to the tools main body.

Though the ST-15i provides a huge variety of wrench options, they were a little too short for a few trailside repairs I encountered during the test period. Overall, the ST-15i provided great features in a lightweight package and at a reasonable $40. If you ride and don’t own a multi tool, do your riding buddies a favor and pick up the ST-15i and ride prepared!
