Road Trip: Mountain Flyer's Jordan Carr on the Highway in the New Rig

First Stop: Outerbike, Moab Utah.

With a credit card in hand and a pile of boxes full of Mountain Flyer schwag, Mountain Flyer's Jordan carr has hit the road in our new - well 18-year old but new to us - VDub Eurovan. The first stop for the new ride will be Outerbike in Moab, Utah. Sept. 29 - Oct. 3. If you're in the area, stop by and pick up a cool pair of MF Swiftwick Socks, Custom Mountain Flyer jersey or a fresh cup of espresso. Or just give Jordan a noogie.

This project has been a long time in the making - mostly time spent dreaming of a new Sprinter Van and wondering how the hell to finance it - but has come together rapidly over the last 30 days after stumbling across a great deal on chic Eurovan thanks to our favorite sandbagger Mike Skellion in Eagle, Colo.

After doubling the cost of the van with a killer new wrap job form Victory Circle Graphics in Golden, Colo., installing some alloy, wheels, hooking up a rad little trailer from Let's Go Aero (more pictures to come) in Colorado Springs, and pimping out the stereo system, she's ready to hit the road. For an 18 year old VDub, she runs pretty damn good but could use a little love (if there's anyone out there who can help with that or recommend the right shop, give us call).

The purpose of this rig is to get out there and spread the Mountain Flyer love, we'll be hitting events all of the Rocky Mountains, Southwest, and beyond. Look for us at the upcoming 'cross races on the Front Range, maybe 24 Hours of Moab. We'll be adding more Mountain Flyer schwag as we go.
