You may recognize these Bike Date images from recent issue of Mountain Flyer Magazine. Now you can get the Calendar.
20% percent of the calendar profits will go to Mountain2Moutnain a Colorado nonprofit; Mountain2Mountain works to empower voice and value with women in conflict zones.
Three years ago an Alaska born girl living in the Pacific North West jumped to the sunny state of Colorado in search of her creative side. Much to her surprise, she not only found a creative community that doles out high fives, but also a passion for cycling and photography. Her name is Corie Spruill, the creator of Bike Dates.
Corie started photographing intimate portraits of a woman and her bike two years ago after a few friends and were kicking around ideas for a sexy but different bike related calendar. After countless women and bicycles have offered her their time and good looks, Corie psyched to have given this “bike date” idea the legs it needs to become a reality! Mountain Flyer magazine has already jumped aboard with design support and networking for distribution.
With your contribution, we can take the Bike Dates Calendar to press! Your support will go to the printing and distribution of the calendar to over 200 bike shops across the county. A portion of the proceeds will even benefit a local non-profit Mountain2Mountain; In the spirit of getting even more women in touch with their bicycles. Check out the campaign and see what this whole thing is all about!
