Colorado Collegiate Cyclocross Finals
CU CYCLING presents: BUFFS & BARRIERS
Coming off one of the most successful Mountain Bike seasons to date, The CU Cycling team has now turned its attention to cyclocross, and will be hosting a race at The University of Colorado research park in Boulder on the 19th of November. The race will form the finals of the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Cyclocross conference, and should attract racers from across the state. The event should see competitive racing not just in collegiate categories, but for all ages and abilities. It is likely that the Masters categories will be the highlight of the day, as racers battle to pick up coveted USA Cycling points needed to attend the National Championships held in Wisconsin in January. The race serves as one of CU Cycling's biggest fundraisers of the year. The CU Team is funded by the students themselves, often covering all the costs of racing around the country. All proceeds raised from this race will go straight back into the team, allowing us to help athletes with racing and travelling expenses at regional and national races.
