Uphill Skiing and Snowbike events at the Inaugural Winter Teva Mountain Games
(Vail, Colo.) – The first annual Winter Teva® Mountain Games presented by Eddie Bauer (WTMG) will award $60,000 in cash prizes to the top pro and amateurs competing in a dozen human-powered adventure sport competitions. This on-snow version of the decade-old summer Teva Mountain Games will be held February 10 – 12, 2012, in Vail, Colorado.

CU Cycling team Presents: BUFFS AND BARRIERS
Coming off one of the most successful Mountain Bike seasons to date, The CU Cycling team has now turned its attention to cyclocross, and will be hosting a race at The University of Colorado research park in Boulder on the 19th of November. The classic Research Park CX race is back! A technical course including road, dirt two-track, quick ups and downs with plenty of passing. Both Collegiate and Open Races!

The 2011 Schoolyard Cross is at a great new venue again! We are the last race of Daylight Savings. Located at the Prairie Center in Brighton, CO. The course is designed for spectators, so come out and watch while the riders put on a display of suffering over the course.

Colorado Endurance Series: Ring The Peak
The Ring the Peak 100(ish)k is an unofficial mountain bike challenge taking place in Colorado Springs, CO
as part of the Colorado Endurance Series this is not an organized race or sanctioned event. It is similar in format and spirit to events such as the AZTR 300/750, Hardcoere 100, and other self-supported events. All that is provided is a commonly used route, a suggested start time and tabulation of finishing times provided by riders. There is no race organization, no checkpoints, no support system, nothing. You are completely on your own. The route description/maps page contains a few tips with regards to logistics (water, etc) and timing (the aim is to finish in one day).

Colorado Endurance Series: Nederland HalfAss
Looking for a challege that consists of little more than you and the trail? Well the Colorado Endurance Series is a great way to do that.
Easily accessible from most places on the Front Range of Colorado, Nederland provides some epic high country singletrack. A great way to test yourself late in the Summer, this race provides about 75 miles of singltrack and dirt roads with about 13k feet of climbing.

12 Hours in the Wild West
Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 8am - 8pm
Ft. Stanton Conservation Area, Ruidoso, New Mexico
The course is a little over 10 miles long, primarily single track (80%), is newly cut in, and is mostly hardpacked under some loose dirt. The first half of the course climbs gradually with a short steep section and rocks at about mile 4.5. The last half of the course is very fast with a few little short steep kickers. There are a few small sandy sections. Almost all the climbing is in the first five miles. The trails are very fast.
