(May 28, 2013) SPRING MILLS, Penn- After yesterday’s technical rock crawl, racers faced a day course that tested their fitness equally as much as their technique. The Bald Eagle Coburn Stage 3, presented by DirtRag and ProGold Lubricants, would treat riders to almost 5000 feet of climbing over 42 miles of fire roads interspersed with technical, rocky trails.
For most Americans, Memorial Day means BBQ's and relaxation; but to 3500 road, mountain, and trials riders -- it means it's Iron Horse weekend.

(May 11-12, 2013) EAGLE, Colo—Great trails, competitive racing and big cash pay-outs were just some of the attractions that filled up the weekend at the first ever Eagle Outside Festival.
A weekend in the desert, good friends, beautiful buff trails, beers aplenty, a fun track to race on, and the opportunity to watch some crazy kids (literally, there were 14-year-olds sponsored by the likes of Monster and GoPro) send themselves silly for your amusement.

(May 4, 2013) Moab Utah- The first Enduro of the season was run this past weekend in Moab Utah as hundreds of racers descended upon the Mag 7 trails off Gemini Bridges Road. This would be the first ever race held on this system of trails that was recently built by the awesome and hard working folks at Grand County Trail Mix. The Enduro Cup series is put on by Mountain Sports International, who have been running big time events in the world of skiing and snowboarding for years, and their experience showed as the event went off without a hitch.
To take a break from the long work days running around on foot at the Sea Otter Classic, I signed up to ride the MTB Gran Fondo at the event. Having never been to Sea Otter, I took a leap of faith and assumed I could “demo” a bike from any number of manufacturers for the recreational 20-miler. It was a bit of a gamble because there was a chance I would end up without a bike. But the other risk was getting a bike in my size.
