Tested: Easton EC70 XC Low-Rise Handlebar
Easton's new 685mm wide XC Handlebar Tips the scales at the Same Weight as Bars much Narrower
Review by: Travis Scheefer
Easton recognized that cross-country riders and racers are learning from the all mountain crowd and going with even wider handlebars for more control and comfort. However, added material usually means more weight and racers are notorious for counting grams in an effort to keep their bikes as light as possible. How about a bar with added width at the same weight?

Ross Schnell's Trestle Bike Park All Mountain Enduro
Winter Park, Colo.
The vision:
“In 2009, Ross Schnell approached me with a vision of an event concept that didn’t exist in North America – an event that would change the paradigm for major bike events. The goal of the event would be to focus on races that could determine the best all-around trail rider in North America. The races also needed to focus on the fun of racing mountain bikes. Ross was tired of everybody talking about these races and nobody actually promoting one. In 2011, the Trestle All-Mountain Enduro will be a reality!”
