Front Range Cross racing picks up again in 2010 with Boulder's Colorado Cross Classic UCI race.

Blue Sky Velo Cup

Jake Wells and Amanda Miller take top honors.

The always anticipated, much loved, and well-attended Blue Sky Velo Cup rolled into town at the Legendary Xilinx Campus in Longmont this past Saturday. With nearly five hundred racers tackling a fast and flowing course, there was lots of great racing, plenty of Belgium waffles, the Niwot HS Marching Band, and even a thrash metal band out in the parking lot on the back side of the course, to pump up the racers as they ripped by.

Aspen Lodge Cyclocross Race

On the Road to Outerbike: First trip in the new Van

With the Eurovan all loaded and the Let's Go Aero trailer attached we headed off to Moab, but not without a couple of stops on the way.

Trip number one in the new mobile Mountain Flyer rig is in the books. Outerbike turned out to be a great first year event drawing people from all over the country and many from Canada. I was also fortunate enough to go on a little ride called the “Whole Enchilada” in a fast “group ride” type format (kind of like a race).
