Kelly Magelky of Golden, CO managed to hold off a late charge by Brian Smith and took the overall victory. In the ladies event, Crested Butte local Heather McDowell reeled in Becky Sears on the last climb and to get the win by a slim 2 minutes after a tight race from start to finish.
