The second annual Riverside Rampage mountain bike race is set for May 18-20 in Salida, Colo. Two days of racing with three different stages are planned for the weekend. Registration and packet pick-up will be at the Boathouse Cantina located at 228 north “F” Street in historic downtown Salida, Colo. The weekend’s events include a two-mile hill climb time trial up Tenderfoot Mountain (a.k.a. “S” Mountain) Saturday morning. Afterward we’ll be racing a lengthened version of short track on Tenderfoot Mountain. Sunday will be the cross-country race on the Arkansas Valley Hill Trails on and behind Tenderfoot Mountain. You may enter all the events or pick and choose the events that best suit your racing style. Points will be awarded in the cross country race and in the omnium results.
